Embark on Unforgettable Adventures in the Moroccan Sahara: From Camel Trekking to Stargazing
Departure by 4×4 through the Great Southern Gate to Agdz crossing the lunar landscapes of the Anti-Atlas mountains. You visit the impressive kasbah of Tamnougalte, former caravan stage. Then, along the Draa valley and its palm grove, you arrive in Zagora and then in M’Hamid where the road stops. Here you are at the gates of the desert. A camel ride will allow you to admire the sunset before dinner and spend the night in a nomadic tent at the foot of the dunes of erg Lihoudi.
The next day, after enjoying the desert, you take the road to the charming village of Tamgroute to discover its zaouia, its Koranic library and its traditional pottery workshops. A stop is necessary in Zagora the city of the sign «Timbuktu 40 days». Return to Ouarzazate via Agdz and its typical market.
